I only started on Friday so, unfortunately, I'm not yet through week one. I only ate 1470 calories total for the first 4 days. I just couldn't tolerate the meditrim and I couldn't call anyone since it was the weekend. I was afraid to eat or drink anything else so I had nothing. I finally spoke to Rinette yesterday and she said to try and see if I could tolerate slimfast. I had my first one this morning. They are also disgusting but much better than the other so I think I can tolerate them. I just hate that I wasted $200. Anyway I'm so beyond hungry now that I'm not even hungry, if that makes sense. I'm down 7 lbs so far. I really appreciate your caring. Thank you. Starr

Maybe someone out there will buy the meditrim from you so you won't be out so much money. What flavours of Slimfast have you tried. There are 4 different ones. I found them awful for the first 2 or 3 days but them they seemed to get better tasting over time. let me know how it goes. this is a tough part of the journey. By the time 2 weeks are past, you are so looking forward to surgery so you can get back to food, it's amazing.

I suppose Debbie from the cape will be starting her 2 week fast soon too.

Starr,

Maybe bring your unused Meditrim packages to the next couple of support meetings and see if anyone wants to purchase them.

Taste buds are strange creatures. I liked the Medtrim and I was thinking of buying more for post-op but I never did. Go figure!

I don't mind the Meditrim as I really like the peanut butter bars (I purchased 1/2 bars; 1/2 shakes & I found the bars way better) but I keep dreaming of pizza....My fav food......lol
